About E&R Seed LLC
The One Stop Shop For All Your Lawn & Garden Needs
Located at 1404 E 200 S, Monroe, IN 46772, E&R Seed LLC operates as a seed and bulb supplier serving Monroe in Indiana. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as garden center, so it may cover more than the name suggests.
In Monroe, garden centers are busiest on spring weekends, when new stock arrives and popular plants sell out; weekday mornings are calmer and staff have more time to answer questions. Ask which plants are hardy for your USDA zone in Indiana, whether trees and shrubs carry a replacement guarantee (one year is common), and whether the nursery delivers and plants large items. Fall is the best planting season for many trees and perennials, and end-of-season sales are common. Many nurseries close or shorten hours in winter, so check the listing for current hours and Google rating before you go.
The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. Typical hours are 7:30 am–4:30 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (260) 692-6827. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.
Customers rate it 4.7 out of 5 on Google across 55 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded seeds & bulbs in Monroe.
Monroe is in Indiana, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Monroe follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

While this place is in the middle of nowhere it is definitely worth the scavenger hunt to find it! The prices are fantastic and if you garden or farm they have what you need! They have aisle after aisle of hand picked seeds from hundreds of species of flower, vegetable, and fruits. I was shocked considering they were all hand packaged! I think the best aspect of E&R Seed was the fact that on some of the seed packages they alerted you that the germination rate was lower so to make up for that they put additional seeds in the pack! It doesn't get more honest than that!!! I highly recommend!

I have been buying vegetable and flower seeds and gardening supplies from this company for years. They have a great variety of seeds , the prices are excellent, their shipping is fast ! They are very courteous whenever I call. They are my go to seed and gardening supply company. Call them and get their catalogs, you’ll be impressed….. also order early so you’ll get what you want , because from personal experience some of their seeds sell out !

Great service and very nice, knowledgeable people. Their storefront is more expansive than any commercial or private storefront I have found elsewhere in the state. Well worth the drive for great deals on hard to find products. Fully recommend.

Always a positive experience. Its not a “state of the art” facility-more of a family run large business. I find the personal touch and one on one help to be top notch. Products and seeds are always reliable, and they also have some hard to find items
